Baomahun Scoping Study

Cluff Gold PLC03 September 2007 Cluff Gold plc ("Cluff Gold" or the "Company") Scoping study completed for the Baomahun Gold Project, Sierra Leone Cluff Gold today announces the completion of a scoping study (''the ScopingStudy'') on the Baomahun Gold Project ("Baomahun" or "the Project") in SierraLeone. The Scoping Study was developed in conjunction with independent consultants RSGGlobal Consulting and SENET Engineering. The result of the study shows that there is an economically recoverable zone ofmineralisation that could be successfully exploited by an open pit miningoperation with a conventional Carbon in Leach (CIL) ore beneficiation andrecovery process of approximately 1.0 to 1.5Mtpa. The Project could produceapproximately 140 000 to 200 000 ounces annually and the metallurgical test workdone to date has confirmed the ore to be non- refractory. The Scoping Study is based on the current Indicated and Inferred Resources of1.16 million ounces as announced by the company on 4 July. Less than 25% of theprospective trend has been drilled so far.
