BankMuscat to raise capital - private placement

BankMuscat to raise capital through private placement of shares.

We refer to our earlier disclosure on January 31, 2012 in relation to raising additional capital through the private placement of shares. We would like to inform the market that the transaction with a reputable international institution is at an advanced stage of completion. The transaction is expected to be finalized by the end of February 2013, whereby full details of the transaction will be disclosed to the market after obtaining all necessary approvals.
