Report 58/2010: Bank shareholders filing appeal

The Management Board of Bank Polska Kasa Opieki S.A. ("Bank") hereby informs that the Bank was serviced upon an appeal of a Bank shareholder concerning the verdict of the District Court of Warsaw, 20th Business Division of 9 December 2009, dismissing his legal action to repeal Resolution No. 4 of the Bank Extraordinary Meeting of Shareholders of 27 April 2007 on the integration of the Bank with Bank BPH S.A., carried out as the spin-off of Bank BPH S.A. by transferring a portion of BPH S.A. assets, in a form of an organised part of an enterprise, onto the Bank (spin-off by separation).

In the Bank's opinion the shareholder's appeal is groundless.

Legal basis: § 38 section 1 point 6 of the Finance Minister's Ordinance of 19 February 2009 re. current and periodic reports published by the issuers of securities and the rules of equal treatment of the information required by the laws of non-member states.
