British Airways PLC19 March 2008 BA increases shareholding in Iberia British Airways has bought 28,745,767 shares of the Spanish airline Iberia at anaverage price of €2.34 per share, taking its holding to 13.15 per cent. British Airways Chief Executive Officer Willie Walsh said: "This purchasereflects the strategic importance we attach to our relationship with Iberia andour continued confidence in its management.
