British Airways PLC26 September 2006 British Airways appoints new board member British Airways Plc today announced that James A Lawrence will be joining theboard as a non-executive director with effect from 1 November, 2006. Mr Lawrence is currently vice chairman and chief financial officer of GeneralMills Inc. one of the largest food companies in North America. Announcing the appointment, Martin Broughton, chairman of British Airways said:"We are delighted that Jim will be joining the board.
