Award Win

Central Asia Metals (AIM: CAML), a copper producer focused on base metals in Central Asia, is pleased to announce its success at the recent UK Stock Market Awards 2014, held on 27 March 2014 in London.

CAML won the "Best Basic Resources PLC" where the award was judged against comparison of performance, management acumen and sector conditions.

Nick Clarke, Chief Executive Officer of CAML, commented:

"For CAML to be recognised in this category is a great achievement and honour. We are proud of our progress since listing in 2010 and this award is recognition of all the hard work and dedication that our employees have made against an increasingly challenging backdrop for mining companies. We are extremely excited about the future of CAML and hope to continue with our success to date."
