Manpower Software PLC24 October 2005 24 October 2005 MANPOWER SOFTWARE PLC (the "Company") AWARD OF CONTRACT Manpower Software plc is pleased to announce the sale of an enterprise licencefor its MAPS Crew Manning software to Norwegian Cruise Line Limited ("NCL"). The value of the licence is approximately £530,000 ($950,000) for a termexpiring on 31 December 2009. Further licences already contracted with NCL this financial year have amountedto £108,000 ($194,000). Therefore, with first year support for all licences andanticipated services to follow, the total value of contracts which the Companyhas been awarded by NCL this financial year is approximately £800,000($1,450,000). NCL is a cruise company headquartered in Miami, Florida, with a fleet of 16ships in service and under construction. It is a subsidiary of Star Cruises,the world's third largest cruise line. In December 2002, NCL contracted with MSW for a limited supply of the MAPS CrewManning software. NCL uses the unique time-based functionality of MAPS for thelong-term scheduling of its staff. MAPS provides NCL with a central repositoryfor all crew related information, which is used to ensure NCL's ships are mannedat all times with the correct complement of crew, having the appropriatecertificates, skills, vaccinations etc, to comply with international maritimeregulations. MAPS also manages NCL's crew travel and administration. The initial contract, awarded in December 2002 for $1,060,500, enabled NCL toimplement MAPS across its then current fleet of 10 ships and in its HRheadquarters in Miami, Florida. With this new licence agreed, NCL will be ableto support its fleet expansion plans for the next five years, which it isanticipated will see the fleet grow to 16 ships. In addition to NCL, MSW's maritime products are in use by some of the world'slargest and best known shipping companies, including Carnival Cruise Lines, P&OPrincess, Cunard Line, AP Moller-Maersk.
