JSC "Halyk Bank" awarded based on results of "Expert-100-Kazakhstan" rating

JSC "Halyk Bank" (" the Bank") was given an award in "Most effective bank in Kazakhstan" nomination based on results of "Expert-100-Kazakhstan" - the rating of the country's largest companies for 2011.

The award certificate was given to Mrs. Umut Shayakhmetova, CEO of the Bank, by Mr. Dmitry Grishankov, General Director of CJSC "Expert RA" during IV "Expert-100-Kazakhstan" Economic Forum held in Astana.

"Expert-100" rating is the most representative list of the leading companies in Kazakhstan which allows identifying the largest companies in Kazakhstan based on results of their activities, identifying the role of large business in the country's economic development, its structure and main trends.

At present, this is the sixth award granted to the Bank in 2012 from one of the reputed international magazines. Previously, the Bank was acknowledged the best in "Best Local Bank: Kazakhstan" nomination as per results of "Eurasian Bank Survey 2012" special research published in "BusinessNewEurope" international magazine and awarded as "Best Bank in Kazakhstan" by Global Finance and Emeafinance. Global Finance also awarded the Bank "Best Trade Finance Bank in Kazakhstan 2012" and "Best Foreign Exchange Provider in Kazakhstan 2012".
