3 May 2005GROUP 4 SECURICOR PLCREPORT AND ACCOUNTS AND AUTHORITY TO PURCHASE SHARESThe company will shortly be posting to shareholders the report and accounts forthe year ended 31 December 2004 which will include the notice of the AnnualGeneral Meeting to be held on 30 June 2005.At the AGM the company will, for the first time, be seeking a general authorityfrom its shareholders to make market purchases for up to 10% of its own shares.The Board has no present intention of utilising this authority once provided,but believes it appropriate to obtain this flexibility in accordance withcommon business practice.Nigel GriffithsCompany SecretaryENDGROUP 4 SECURICOR PLC
