Auhua wins Prestigious Star of China Award 2012 from Global Finance Magazine

Auhua Clean Energy plc, the AIM quoted (AIM: ACE) environmental technology group based in the Shandong Province of China, is delighted to announce that it has been awarded Star of China 2012 in the renewable energy category by Global Finance Magazine, an international investment publication.

The Star of China Awards recognise the best companies in China which demonstrate pioneering innovation, differentiation and are leading the way for others in their sector. Global Finance Magazine acknowledges Auhua has adopted a different approach to renewable energy and that it focuses on small-scale, split-unit solar water heaters rather than large-scale alternative power projects. The differentiating strategy has boosted Auhua's sales by 35% in the first half of the year and gained the support of several large construction conglomerates which have sought out cooperation agreements. Auhua has won several awards for its product innovation and recently received a five star certification for the quality of its split-unit solar water heaters, the highest grade obtainable under the Shandong Solar Energy Industry Association's industry standards for solar water heaters.
