Asacha mining and production update
LONDON: 30 January 2012 - Trans-Siberian Gold plc ("TSG" or the "Company") (TSG.L) reports that mine development activities at Asacha in 2011 comprised approximately 3,480 metres and 37,000 m3. The ore stockpile at the end of December comprised approximately 64,000 tonnes.
On 20 December 2011 TSG reported that, by the end of November 2011, approximately 22,500 mt of ore with an average gold grade of 8.82 g/t had been processed at the Asacha plant at an average recovery rate of 94.1%. In December 2011, approximately 7,800 mt with an average gold grade of 10.89 g/t was processed at a recovery rate of 94.47%.

The difference between the gold recovered and gold dore quantities in the above table represents gold in the processing circuit at the end of the relevant month which is included in dore production in the following month.
Refined amounts from 2011 shipments of gold dore to the refinery at Novosibirsk were 7,824 oz gold and 8,566 oz silver.
TSG will report Asacha's first quarter 2012 gold production in April 2012.
