TYRATECH, INC.

("TyraTech" or "the Company")

Arysta LifeScience Announces Introduction of First TyraTech Insecticide Product

TyraTech, Inc. (AIM: TYR), a leading independent novel eco-technology company for human, animal and environmental health, is pleased to announce that Arysta LifeScience North America has announced (http://www.arystalifescience.us/default.asp?V_DOC_ID=1963) the introduction of ShooterTM, an insecticide with their Responsive Pest ManagementTM (RPMTM) Technology, which is based on TyraTech Nature's Technology™, to provide an Eco-ResponsiveTM approach to insect control in commercial agriculture. Shooter has been approved for insect control on a large range of crops including bulb, cucurbit, fruiting, root, tuberous and corm vegetables and sweet corn.

Responsive Pest ManagementTM Technology has been developed by Arysta LifeScience under its strategic partnership agreement with TyraTech, signed in August this year. It is the process of combining nature identical compounds with or without synthetic insecticides and is based on the identification of specific natural compounds that interfere with targeted neurological and olfactory receptors of the insect. When RPMTM Technology compounds come in contact with the sensors, a chain reaction is triggered that repels or kills the insect.

The Arysta LifeScience plan described in its release of October 21, 2009, notes that the combination of natural compounds with a synthetic insecticide provides a number agronomic and environmental benefits including

Superior control: a new method of control that has been proved effective in numerous field tests.

Synergy: When a low rate of a synthetic insecticide is combined with RPM Technology, the performance increases dramatically.

Eco-Responsive: The natural compounds used in RPM Technology are plant-based and when used alone result in an organic product. When natural and synthetic ingredients are combined highly effective control is achieved at significantly reduced rates.

Safety: None of the specifically targeted insect receptors can be found in humans or animals, which enhances worker safety. The Environmental Protection Agency classifies this technology as Category IV.

Resistance management: Because it doesn't work like a conventional insecticide, RPM Technology helps break the cycle of resistance.

Commenting on the announcement, Douglas Armstrong Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer of TyraTech, said: "We are delighted that Arysta LifeScience has started the campaign of marketing this excellent new agricultural pest control product. This is the first of a line of products in development, and, clearly demonstrates both the commitment that Arysta LifeScience is making to the commercial plan, and the power of our partnership that brings proprietary discovery and development together with expert commercialization.''

About TyraTech

TyraTech was formed in 2004 to develop and commercialise products for the control of invertebrate pests and pathogens using the Company's proprietary technology. TyraTech, which already has products on the market, is positioned for human health, animal health and pesticide market opportunities which total over $32 billion globally. TyraTech's Nature's Technology provides the Company with a wide variety of product and business opportunities in many markets and geographic regions. The differentiating feature of these products is the potential to have a combined level of potency and safety that other invertebrate control products are unable to offer. TyraTech's platform brings many of the principles of drug discovery and development to the fields of insecticides and parasiticides. By targeting specific chemoreceptors that are found in invertebrates but not in humans and animals, TyraTech can produce products that use natural plant derived compounds targeting these receptors.

TyraTech's plan for the use of its technology is to develop selected proprietary active ingredients which can then be used across a wide variety of market segments, either by development partners or by TyraTech itself. TyraTech already has products or partnerships in the areas of professional and horticultural insect control, and for consumer and professional pest control. TyraTech also has an innovative partnership with Kraft to use its natural oils to develop functional foods for improving the health of the more than 2 billion people worldwide subject to intestinal parasitic infections.

TyraTech also has a separate technology with associated intellectual property that is the basis for the Sustainable Solutions business. This technology has been incorporated into specialised dairy farm equipment for processing cattle manure waste to a usable material for TyraTech to sell as a commercial plant growing medium.
