Argentine Supreme Court rejects government appeal

On 5 October 2010, Grupo Clarín S.A. (the "Company") informed the Argentine Securities Commission and the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange that on that same date, the Argentine Supreme Court rendered a decision in re "Grupo Clarín S.A. y otros s/ medida Cautelares", rejecting the appeal filed by the Argentine Government seeking to quash an injunction obtained by Grupo Clarin.

Consequently, the injunction that suspended the application of Section 161 of Audiovisual Communication Services Law No. 26,522 with respect to Grupo Clarin remains in effect.
