Michael Tanner, aged 60, retired from George Wimpey UK at the end of December2004 where he was Divisional Managing Director, South, a post he had held forten years. Berkeley confirms that there is no other information to be disclosed pursuant toSection 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules in relation to the appointment.
