Hammerson PLC19 December 2006 Hammerson plc Appoints Joint Corporate Broker Hammerson plc has appointed Deutsche Bank to act as the Company's jointcorporate broker alongside existing broker, Citigroup. Commenting on the appointment, Simon Melliss, Hammerson's Group Finance Directorsaid, "Hammerson was one of the few FTSE 100 companies with a sole corporate broker.With the substantial increase in investor interest in the real estate sectorover the last 12 months, and the introduction of REITs in the UK, we believe itis appropriate to appoint another broker to work with our existing broker as weincrease our efforts to capitalise on the opportunities for Hammerson followingits adoption of REIT status."
