Approvals update - First decision date
The Directors of Sirius Minerals Plc (AIM: SXX, OTCQX: SRUXY) ("Sirius" or the "Company") announce that a committee meeting date of Thursday, 23 April 2015 has been set for the determination of its mine and mineral transport system ("MTS") planning application by Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council ("RCBC").
RCBC has today published its committee report, which includes a recommendation for approval by the planning officers. The final decision by RCBC will be made by the members of the RCBC Regulatory Committee at its meeting on Thursday, 23 April 2015. The Regulatory Committee report has been published on the RCBC website (https://www.redcar-cleveland.gov.uk/cabpap14-15.nsf/allbykey/C6071FDEA84D968380257E2800468357?opendocument).
This application is a 'straddling application' that was submitted for the mine and MTS. The other straddling application for the mine and MTS is to be determined by the North York Moors National Park Authority.
