Approval of Appointment Qualification of Chairman of a Subsidiary

Reference is made to the announcement of China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd. (the "Company") dated 21 March 2025, in relation to change of chairman of a subsidiary (the "Announcement"). As considered and approved by the board meeting of China Pacific Property Insurance Co., Ltd. ("CPIC P/C"), a subsidiary of the Company, it was agreed to elect Mr. YU Bin as the chairman of the eighth session of the board of directors of CPIC P/C. The appointment qualification of Mr. YU Bin as the chairman of CPIC P/C is subject to approval by the regulatory authorities.

The Company is pleased to announce that, CPIC P/C has recently received the "Approval of Appointment Qualification of Mr.YU Bin as the Chairman of China Pacific Property Insurance Co., Ltd." (Jin Fu [2025] No. 337) issued by the National Financial Regulatory Administration (the "NFRA"). The NFRA has approved the appointment qualification of Mr. YU Bin as the chairman of CPIC P/C. The term of office of Mr. YU Bin as the chairman of CPIC P/C became effective on 4 June 2025.
