Appointment to subsidiary company board

 Non-Executive Director appointment in the Company's main operating company, GIS

The Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Chris Rollason, as a Non-Executive director to the Board of Global Investment strategy UK Ltd ("GIS"), the Company's wholly owned subsidiary. Chris is a qualified accountant, has more than 30 years of banking experience in senior risk and finance roles, incorporating Capital & Regulation Director, Head of Stress Testing, Head of Capital Planning, Head of Model and Regulatory Governance, and Head of Regulatory Reporting.

As GIS expands its operations into the development of its new enterprises, SynerGIS and GIS (FS) HK ( Hong Kong), Chris, with his wealth of experience in operating in highly regulated banking and financial services' environments, will support the board during the current growth phase of the group. In due course, the Octagonal Board would look to make Chris a Non-Executive Director of GIS's parent, Octagonal Plc.
