Jean-Charles, 64, is an experienced senior-level pharmaceutical executive withover 40 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry, most recently with asPresident and Chief Operating Officer of Yamanouchi Europe, the largest Japanesepharmaceutical company in Europe. Prior to that he held senior positions atCardinal Health, Johnson & Johnson and Schering-Plough. Jean-Charles will be appointed as a member of the Audit and Nomination &Governance Committees.
