Appointment of Wardell Armstrong International Ltd
GSR is pleased to announce the appointment of London based Wardell Armstrong International Ltd ("WAI") to provide ongoing assistance and guidance for exploration and operations for the Company's diamonds and gold projects in Sierra Leone, West Africa. WAI provides a wide range of services for mineral-related projects ranging from preliminary exploration planning, through mineral resource and reserve estimation, mine design and financial appraisal, to pre-feasibility and feasibility studies. WAI was the Competent Person in relation to GSR's admission to AIM in July 2013 and is qualified to act as a Competent Person, as defined in the AIM Note for Mining and Oil & Gas Companies of June 2009.
In view of the appointment of WAI, the Board has decided not to extend Mona Sulaiman's employment. Her probation period ended on 14 July 2014.

The following WAI geologists will be available to assist the Company;
1. Mark Owen, BSc, MSc, CGeol, EurGeol, FGS, Technical Director, Geology and Resources
Mark is a chartered geologist and has worked for over 31 years as a mining and exploration geologist in both the metalliferous and industrial mineral mining sector. With WAI over the last 13 years, he has developed an extensive portfolio of exploration and mining related contracts, from project management through to technical audits of a large variety of mineral deposits particularly in Europe, Russia and the CIS, North and West Africa.
2. Liv Carroll, BSc, MSc, DIC, CGeol, FGS, FIMMM, Associate Director, Economic and Exploration Geology
Liv is a chartered geologist with over 12 years of experience and, supported by a Masters in Mineral Project Appraisal from RSM, has an extensive understanding of economic and exploration geology. Liv has contributed to many international seminars and conferences, including being invited by the Association of Mining Analysts to present at the House of Lords on the development of the minerals industry of Sierra Leone and in 2009 was invited by the All Party Parliamentary Group for Earth Sciences to present at the House of Commons on the mineral deposits of Tanzania. She is a committee member of PERC (the Pan European Reserves and Resources Reporting Committee) and was also instrumental in the competent person's report for the GSR AIM admission document.
3. Greg Moseley, BSc, MSc, DIC, CEng, MIMMM, Associate Consultant
Greg is a chartered engineer (geologist) with 48 years' experience in exploration and mining geology. He holds an MSc degree (Distinction) in Exploration Geology from RSM and has worked world-wide across five continents in a variety of roles with major and junior companies. In more recent years, Greg has operated as an independent consultant with the majority of his work being in Africa (25 countries over the last 5 years). He is familiar with most countries in West Africa, including Sierra Leone. He has been involved in the discovery/development of several mines-mainly gold and diamonds (Orapa). He has advised on diamond projects, both alluvial and kimberlite, in South Africa, Botswana, Guinea and the DRCand he is familiar with international reporting requirements having written CPRs and NI 43-101 Technical Reports as well as reports to Valmin.
