APPOINTMENT OF TRADING DIRECTOR

JJB Sports is pleased to announce the appointment of Kate Hayes as Trading Director. Kate joins JJB Sports from Ben Sherman where she has been International Retail Director.

Kate will form part of the new and developing operating board alongside Retail Director, Ron Rome and Paul Mitford, HR and Training Director. She will join the Company on 1 November 2010 and will be based at its Retail Support Centre in Wigan.

Kate has over 15 years' experience in retail and has a good knowledge of the sportswear market. Before joining Ben Sherman, Kate worked at Nike for eight years - initially as European Buying and Merchandising Directors and latterly, after a short spell at Tesco.com, as Nike's UK Retail Director during which time she had overall responsibility for Nike's retail operations in the UK, including the flagship Nike Town.

Commenting on Kate's appointment, Keith Jones, Chief Executive, said:
