Manchester Building Society22 December 2006 Manchester Building Society Appoints President Following his retirement as Chairman last April, Michael Dunham has beenappointed to the honorary position of President of Manchester Building Society. The appointment is in recognition of his stewardship of the Society as adirector for 30 years, and, from 1996-2006. as Chairman. Current Chairman John Bee commented "Michael has made an immense contribution to the Society over the years. Theappointment reflects the Board's appreciation of what Michael has achieved andensures his continuing association." Michael Dunham responded "I am delighted to accept the position of Society President. The Society'sperformance in recent years has been amongst the most impressive within thebuilding society sector.
