New Non Executive Independent Members Appointed to Committees

Accent Group announces the appointment of Nick Simkins and Amer Alkhalil as non-executive independent members to the Audit and Risk Committee and Capital Investment Committee respectively. Both appointments are effective from 29th March 2023 for a term of three years.

Nick Simkins is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and will sit on Accents Audit and Risk Committee. Nick has recently retired having previously held the position of Audit Partner for over 15 years specialising in Not for Profit and pensions. Nick also holds a number of Board and Committee roles within Further Education.

Amer Alkhalil is an experienced Director within the property and construction industry having most recently held the position of Divisional Managing Director at Barratt Homes Northampton. Prior to joining Barratt in 2019 Amer spent over 25 years in various roles within residential development gaining experience in all aspects of construction from land acquisition to sales delivery. Amer will sit on Accents Capital Investment Committee.
