Appointment of Non-Executive Directors
RPC Group Plc, Europe's leading supplier of rigid plastic packaging, announces the appointment of Professor Dr Godwin Wong and Dr Lynn Drummond to the Board of Directors of the Company as non-executive Directors with effect from 16 July 2014.
Godwin, a Chinese/US national, is a business professor of MBA at various universities including the Mannheim Business School, Germany and the University of California, Berkeley. He has lectured internationally in Executive MBA and other executive training programmes. He was appointed as Chief Expert Adviser for economic development, strategies and management by the Beijing City Government. Godwin has been an adviser to various companies, government organisations and institutional entities in the USA, Germany, Hong Kong, China, Asia, Russia and Ukraine. He has served on the board of directors of a number of US banks and other companies. He was a director of ACE Corporation Holdings Limited until its acquisition by RPC Group. Godwin holds a Master's and Doctorate in business management, administration and planning from Harvard University, a Master's in computer science from U.C.L.A. and a degree from the University of Wisconsin.
Lynn, a British national, is the non-executive Chair at Venture Life Plc and InFirst Healthcare Limited, both of which are consumer healthcare companies. In addition, she is a non-executive director at Shield Holdings AG a speciality mineral medicines pharmaceutical company and Allocate Software plc, a workforce optimisation and compliance software applications provider where she also chairs the Remuneration Committee. Lynn is a non-executive director and a member of the Audit and Nomination Committees at the healthcare company, Consort Medical Plc. Lynn is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh and the Royal Society of Chemistry. She holds a degree in Chemistry from the University of Glasgow and a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of London. Lynn worked in the Cabinet Office as Private Secretary to the Chief Scientific Adviser after which she worked for 16 years for Rothschild, where she was Managing Director in the investment banking division establishing and successfully growing the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector.

Godwin Wong does not currently hold any directorships in other publicly quoted companies. He was a non-executive director of UCBH Holdings Inc. from 1998 until November 2009. There are no details to be disclosed under paragraph 9.6.13 (2) to (6) of the Listing Rules.
Details of directorships held by Lynn Drummond in other publicly quoted companies in the last five years are:

Allocate Software plc AIM Listed - non-executive director from November 2012 to date.
