Appointment of non-executive director
Caledonia Investments plc ("Caledonia" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael McLintock as an independent non-executive director with effect from 16 February 2026.
Michael brings extensive investment management and listed company knowledge and experience to Caledonia. Having begun his career in investment banking with Morgan Grenfell and Barings, he moved into investment management. Michael joined M&G in 1992, becoming Chief Executive in 1997. In 1999 he oversaw the sale of M&G to Prudential plc where he served as an executive director from 2000 until his retirement in 2016. He was also a non-executive director of Close Brothers Group between 2001 and 2008.
Michael is currently Chair of Associated British Foods plc, Grosvenor Group and The Investor Forum CIC and is a member of the Takeover Panel Appeal Board.
Michael will also join the Company's Governance and Nomination Committees.
Commenting on Michael's appointment, David Stewart, Caledonia's Chairman, said:
