Appointment of Non-executive Director
Goldplat plc, the AIM quoted gold producer, with international gold recovery operations located in South Africa and Ghana and an underground mining operation in Kenya, announces the appointment of Gerard Kisbey-Green as a non-executive director of the Company.
Commenting on the appointment, Matthew Robinson, Chairman, said: "We are very pleased to announce Gerard's appointment as non-executive director. Gerard was previously a director of Goldplat from 2014 to 2019, serving as non-executive and then as CEO. Gerard has an extensive knowledge of the Group, its industry and its stakeholders to contribute as we build on the Group's strong performance in South Africa and develop our operations in Ghana. Gerard's appointment follows dialogue with a substantial shareholder of the company."
Gerard Anthony Kisbey-Green aged 58 currently holds, or has held, the following directorships or partnerships in the last five years: current, One5eight (Pty) Ltd; past, Goldplat plc; Aurigin Resources Inc. Gerard holds options to acquire 2,666,666 million Goldplat shares exercisable at GBP0.03125 per share in two equal tranches of 1,333,333 within 5 years from vesting dates of 22 July 2015 and 1 July 2016.
