Appointment of Nick Shepherd

as a Non-Executive Director

McKay Securities PLC is pleased to announce that Nick Shepherd has today been appointed to the Board as an independent non-executive Director and as a member of the Company Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees.

Commenting on the appointment, McKay's Chairman, David Thomas, said:

" Nick has faced many interesting strategic and operational challenges over the years as managing partner of Drivers Jonas and his subsequent involvement with Deloitte. Combined with his deep rooted property expertise in our markets, this will be of considerable benefit to the Group as we continue with our growth strategy following the successful Capital Raising in February 2014. I am delighted that he has agreed to join us, and he will be a valuable addition to the Board."

Nick Shepherd, aged 56, qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1985 with Drivers Jonas and progressed to the firm's Board in 1995. He has operated at the highest levels with experience in asset management, development and investment. He set up a City of London investment department for Drivers Jonas in the mid 1990's, and advised occupiers as well as private and public bodies including the Bank of England and the Crown Estate. He was managing partner of Drivers Jonas from 2001 until 2010 when he led the sale of the business to Deloitte and its subsequent integration. Following this, he joined the Deloitte UK Executive Board and was appointed a Vice Chairman in 2012 before retiring from the business in 2013. He is a Board member of The Property Income Trust for Charities, Riverside Capital Group Ltd, Innovation City (London) Ltd and the Reading Real Estate Foundation.
