Appointment of non-executive director
Harvey Nash Group plc (the "Company"), the technology recruitment and offshore services provider, is pleased to announce the appointment of Adrian Gunn as a non-executive director with effect from 1 October 2017.
Adrian is being appointed as a nominee non-executive director on behalf of the investment adviser of the Company's largest shareholder, Dbay Advisors Limited ("Dbay"). Funds under the discretionary management of Dbay currently hold 26.10% of the ordinary shares in the Company. Adrian has no direct or indirect shareholding in the Company.
Adrian has extensive recruitment industry experience, joining Matchtech Group PLC ("Matchtech") in 1988 as a consultant. Adrian was appointed to Matchtech's board of directors in 2004 as Business Development Director, playing an integral role in the company's flotation on AIM in 2006 and becoming chief executive officer in 2007. Adrian held this role until January 2015 when he stepped down from Matchtech's board on announcement of the company's acquisition of Networkers International plc. Adrian is currently a non-executive director of Reach South Academy Trust and acts as a consultant to two privately owned recruitment businesses.
Adrian has served as a Council Member of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation. He was also a member of the CBI's Employment and Skills Board and a Regional Council Member for the South East.
