Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Majestic Wine PLC, the UK's largest wine specialist with 211 stores and the owner of Naked Wines, the online crowd funded wine retailer, announces that Greg Hodder has been appointed to the Board as a Non-Executive Director, with effect from 1 October 2015.

Brian Gregory Hodder (63) is currently Chief Executive Officer of Charles Tyrwhitt Shirts Limited, having held the position since 2008. Prior to this he was Chief Executive Officer of Direct Wines for 14 years. He has also formerly held senior positions at Smallbone USA, the kitchen & home designer and Folio Society, a specialist publishing business.

Greg brings extensive senior management experience in both the retail and wine sectors to Majestic which will further support the Board as the Company moves forward to the next stage of its strategic development. His particular focus on multi-channel retailing and E-commerce will also provide additional insight to the Group.
