Appointment of non-executive Director

Majestic Wine PLC is pleased to announce the appointment to the Board of Ian Harding as a non-executive Director with effect from 1 June 2013.

Ian Andrew Harding, aged 48, is Group Communications Director for Kingfisher plc, a FTSE 100 company and Europe's largest home improvement retailer, where he is responsible for Kingfisher's worldwide investor and media relations programmes. During his 17 years with the business Ian has also held senior financial positions prior to his communications role including Group Financial Controller.

Ian is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and prior to joining Kingfisher he spent eight years as an auditor with PwC.

Save as disclosed below, there are no other matters which are required to be disclosed in accordance with Rule 17 and paragraph (g) of Schedule Two of the AIM Rules for Companies.
