Appointment of Non-Executive Director

DQ Entertainment plc, a global entertainment production and distribution company focused on children's and family animation content, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Srinivasa Raghavan Sundar to the board as a non-executive director with immediate effect.

Mr Sundar is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has over twenty years of post-qualification professional accounting practice experience. Mr Sundar is the founder partner of S Sonny Associates, a firm of chartered accountants based in Chennai, which he founded in 1986. Mr Sundar has been the chairman of the audit committees of a number of local co-operative banks in India.

Mr Sundar is an independent non-executive director of DQE Entertainment (International) Limited, the production and distribution company which is 75% owned by DQE and listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange of India.
