Emblaze Ltd. ("Emblaze" or "the Group") APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR and directorate change
Ra'anana, Israel, 11 September 2008 - Emblaze announces the appointment of Mr. Nahum Admoni to the board of directors of the Group (the "Board") as a non-executive director, effective as of 15 September 2008.
Mr. Admoni currently serves as director of Universe Security Group Ltd., a private company, since July 2000 and as a member of the board of trustees of the Ben Gurion University since 1998.
Mr. Admoni served as the CEO of Mekorot, the Israel National Water Company (1998-1994) and Head of the Israeli Mossad (1982-1989).
Previous directorships held by the Mr. Admoni include the following public companies: ECI Telecom Ltd., Bank Hapoalim, The Israel Electric Corporation Ltd., Discount Investment Corporation Ltd., Housing & Construction Holding Co. Ltd. and Sunfrost Ltd.
Mr. Admoni also served as director of Mishkan Bank Ltd. (a private bank).
The Board has determined that Mr. Admoni is independent in character and judgment and fully complies with the independency requirements as set out in provision A.3.1 of the Combined Code on Corporate Governance. Therefore, Mr. Admoni will be appointed as third member of the audit and remuneration committees as well as the nomination committee, where he will replace the chairman serving in this committee until now.
The Board would like to take this opportunity to inform that Mr. Ilan Flato, a non-executive director of the Board since April 2006, has been appointed to assume the role of the senior non-executive director.
