Appointment of Non-Executive Director

The Innovation Group plc ("Innovation Group" or "the Company" or "the Group") (LSE: TIG.L), a global provider of business process outsourcing and software solutions to the insurance, fleet, automotive and property industries, is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Harrison, FCA to the Group's Board of Directors (the "Board"). Mr Harrison joins the Board with immediate effect as a Non-Executive Director and as Chairman of the Audit Committee.

Mr Harrison has extensive experience of both the European technology sector and of the international professional services arena, drawn from a career spanning more than 30 years at Ernst & Young. Promoted to Partner at the age of 33, Mr Harrison concluded his Ernst & Young career in 2007 as leader of the firm's European Technology Sector audit practice. As practice head, Mr Harrison played a key role in developing the practice's market share, reputation and client base to a position of strength, advising five of the world's leading technology companies as well as a wide range of companies from across the sector.

Following the appointment, the principal Committees of the Board comprise:

Audit: Chris Harrison (Chairman), James Morley, David Thorpe

Remuneration: James Morley (Chairman), David Thorpe

Nomination: David Thorpe (Chairman), James Morley
