Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Devro plc (LSE: DVO), the world's leading manufacturer of collagen products for the food industry, announces the appointment of Paul Withers as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

Paul is currently a Non-Executive Director of Premier Farnell plc and Hyder Consulting PLC. He previously spent over 20 years with BPB plc, the world leader in plasterboard systems, with six years as the Main Board Director responsible for Emerging Markets, Group Business Development and Marketing. Since leaving BPB plc, Paul, a mathematics graduate and Chartered Mechanical Engineer, has held advisory positions with a number of privately owned manufacturing companies.
