Appointment of Non-Executive Director

The Board of London Capital Group Holdings plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Giles Vardey as a Non-Executive Director of the Company as of 30 May 2012.

Giles (56) has worked extensively in the financial services sector at both a senior management and board level. He is a Non-Executive Director at Aritas (formerly Pipeline) Financial and until recently, he was a Non-Executive Director at Collins Stewart Hawkpoint plc. Giles' previous roles include Chairman of Plus Markets Group plc, Chairman of Hunter Fleming Ltd, Chairman of CQS Management and Chief Executive of Greig Middleton & Co. He was also a main board director of the London Stock Exchange.

Commenting on the appointment, Richard Davey, Chairman, said: "We are delighted to welcome Giles on to the Board. His extensive experience and expertise, across many facets of the financial services industry will be a valuable addition as we pursue our growth strategy in the UK and overseas."
