Brenda Reichelderfer appointed Meggitt non-executive director

Meggitt PLC ("Meggitt"), a leading international company specialising in high performance components and sub-systems for the aerospace, defence and energy markets, is pleased to announce the appointment of Brenda Reichelderfer as a non-executive director of the Company with immediate effect.

Brenda who is an engineer, was Senior Vice President, Director of Engineering and Chief Technology Officer of ITT Industries Corporation until her retirement in 2008 having previously held a number of senior roles within the corporation including Group President of one of their four strategic business units. She is currently Senior Vice President and Managing Director of TriVista a boutique consulting firm working in the private equity sector, a member of the Technology Transfer Group of the Missile Defense Agency and a non-executive director of

Federal Signal Corporation and Wencor Aerospace.
