Appointment of Non-Executive Director

KBC is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul McCloskey as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 24 February 2014.

Paul McCloskey has recently retired from Husky Energy, one of Canada's largest integrated energy companies, where he ran the Atlantic Region business unit, being responsible for oil exploration, development and production operations. A graduate in chemical engineering, Paul previously held management positions in Hess, a leading global independent energy company primarily engaged in the exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas, and other organisations in the oil and gas industry. He commenced his career with Conoco.

Paul will serve on the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination committees of KBC Advanced Technologies plc.
