Appointment of Non-Executive Director

McBride plc, Europe's leading supplier of private label household and personal care products, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeff Carr as a Non-Executive Director with effect from1 February 2011.

Jeff has extensive financial experience having worked with a range of major companies not only in the UK but also internationally including Europe, the Americas and Australasia.

Jeff is Finance Director at FirstGroup plc, the leading transport operator in the UK and North America, a position he has held since September 2009. He joined from easyJet plc where he had been Group Finance Director since 2005. Prior to that he held a number of senior financial roles at Associated British Foods plc, Reckitt Benckiser plc, Grand Metropolitan plc and Unilever plc.
