Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Brewin Dolphin Holdings PLC announces the appointment of Ian Dewar as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 15 November 2013.

Ian Dewar has been appointed as a non-executive director with immediate effect and as Chairman of the Audit Committee following the AGM in February 2014. Ian recently retired from KPMG after a 32 year career where he was a Partner for 19 years. During that time, he performed a wide variety of different roles both within KPMG and as a Non-Executive Trustee in the Charity sector. An accountant by training, his experience has been in Audit, Advisory, Client Relationship and Practice Management roles. The last 27 years have been spent working in the Financial Services Sector.
