Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Forum Energy, the UK incorporated oil and gas exploration and production company is pleased to announce the appointment of Eric Recto to the Board of Directors on 1 August 2013, as a non-executive director.

Mr. Recto, Filipino, 49 years old is currently Chairman of Philippine Bank of Communications ("PBC"). He is Vice Chairman and Director of Alphaland Corporation, Atok-Big Wedge Co Inc., PhilWeb Corporation, Petron Corporation, President and Director of ISM Communications Corporation, a Director of San Miguel Corporation and Manila Electric Company, and a member of the Board of Supervisors of Acentic GmbH.

Prior to joining PBC, Mr. Recto served as Undersecretary of Finance of the Republic of the Philippines from 2002 to 2005, in charge of handling both the International Finance Group and the Privatization Office. Prior to that, he was Chief Finance Officer of Alaska Milk Corporation and Belle Corporation.

Mr. Recto has a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of the Philippines as well as an MBA from Johnson School, Cornell University.
