28th September 2007 SERVICEPOWER TECHNOLOGIES PLC Appointment of new director
ServicePower , the innovative supplier of outsourcing solutions and software to the mobile repair and installations industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Hugh Fitzwilliam-Lay to its Board as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.
Hugh Fitzwilliam-Lay (aged, 41) was co-founder and majority owner of Citipost Inc., a logistics company based in New York that was sold in January 2000 to the British Post Office. Citipost started in Manhattan and concentrated on the next day delivery of business mail to, from and between Central Business Districts. When it was sold it had over 20 offices globally and over 400 employees.
Hugh Fitzwilliam-Lay is currently Managing Partner of BFL&P which is an early stage venture capital investor and has stakes in 15 companies. The partnership has an in depth knowledge of the enterprise software market with 5 investments in this area with the other areas of knowledge being mobile technologies and supply & logistics. Hugh Fitzwilliam-Lay also has an interest in King Street Partners, a small venture capital company.
The Company has been informed that on 21st September 2007, Hugh Fitzwilliam-Lay, has a beneficial interest in 2,670,000 Ordinary Shares of 10p each representing 2.99 per cent of the Company's issued share capital.

Hugh Fitzwilliam-Lay is a Main Board Director of the following three private companies:
1. Quask AG, which is a software company that specializes in the workflow arena. The unique features of the company are the product's ease of use and the web based sales model that sells to a global market.
2. Cyden Ltd, which is a technology company that manufactures patented Light Therapy devices for the Health and Beauty Market.
3. Smartlogics Semaphore Ltd, which is a software company that focuses on the area of Enterprise Search.
It partners Google and Microsoft and has customers in government, banking and media sectors.
Hugh Fitzwilliam-Lay was a Director of Allied Crisis Management ("ACM") when it had receivers appointed in December 2004. ACM was a consultancy business focused on the oil and gas sector. All matters were settled without dispute.
There are no further details are required to be disclosed under paragraph 9.6.13 (1-6) of the Listing Rules of the Financial Services Authority.
