APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Scott Wilson Group plc, the multi-disciplinary international design and engineering consultancy for the built and natural environments, today announces that it has appointed Christopher Kemball as a non-executive director with effect from 1 January 2009.
Christopher, 61, is currently non-executive Chairman of The Davis Service Group Plc and has served previously as a non-executive director at WS Atkins and Control Risks Group. He is also Vice Chairman of Hawkpoint Partners, one of Europe's leading independent advisory firms, and has extensive investment banking experience specialising in mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings and privatisations in Europe, the US and emerging markets.
Pelham Allen will retire from the board on 1 January 2009 after six years. The Board would like to record its thanks to Pelham for all that he has done during his time with Scott Wilson.
Scott Wilson confirms that there are no matters requiring disclosure in relation to paragraphs 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.
