Appointment of Non-executive Director

The Board of Havelock Europa plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Alexander David MacLellan as a non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 16 August 2010.

Mr MacLellan is Chairman of RJD Partners, a mid-market private equity business, focused on the service and leisure sector, which he founded in 2001. From 1984 until 2000, Mr MacLellan worked for Murray Johnstone, a privately-owned fund manager with some US$7 billion of funds under management, latterly as Group Managing Director. Murray Johnstone was acquired by Aberdeen Asset Management in 2000, where he served as an executive director until 2001.

Mr MacLellan was a non-executive director of Facia Limited at the time it was placed into administration in May 1996. A liquidator was appointed subsequently.

Mr MacLellan is a director of Britannic UK Income Trust PLC and of its subsidiary Britannic UK Income Securities PLC. Both companies were placed in members voluntary liquidation in August 2006.
