UBM plc – Appointment of Non-executive Director

UBM plc, one of the world’s leading B2B event organisers, announces the appointment of Katryn Shineman Blake (“Trynka Shineman”) as a Non-executive Director with effect from 1 March 2016.

As President of Vistaprint, a leading global online provider of professional marketing products and services to micro business owners,Trynka leads the company's technology, product and marketing strategies. Her career in marketing spans more than 18 years and all facets of the marketing discipline. She has focused on acquiring and retaining customers at scale in both e-commerce and traditional marketing settings.

Dame Helen Alexander, Chairman of UBM plc, said “I am delighted to welcome Trynka to the Board of UBM. Her experience in marketing for online global businesses will be invaluable as UBM implements ‘Events First’ through focus on its customers and growth strategy.

Neither Ms Shineman nor any connected person holds any interest in UBM securities.
