Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Latchways plc is pleased to announce the appointment to the Board of Mr Jamie Matheson with immediate effect. Mr Matheson was Executive Chairman of Brewin Dolphin Holdings PLC, a leading private client investment manager, until March 2013, and is currently a non-executive director of STV PLC, the Scottish broadcaster. He was also a non-executive director of Maven Income and Growth VCT 5 PLC until April 2013. Mr Matheson will assume the role of Chair of the Latchways plc remuneration committee, and will be a member of the audit and nomination committees.

No further disclosures are necessary in respect of Jamie Matheson's appointment under paragraph 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules.

Brewin Dolphin Holdings PLC was the corporate broker of Latchways plc until the sale of its corporate broking business to a new venture, N+1 Brewin, which completed on 1 February 2012. The board of Latchways plc is of the opinion that Mr Matheson fully satisfies the independence requirements set out in the UK Corporate Governance Code.
