Appointment of non-executive director

Augean, one of the UK's leading specialist waste management businesses, is pleased to announce that John Grant will join the Board as a non-executive director with effect from 24 August 2015.

John (aged 69) brings a significant operational and financial contribution to the Board with over two decades' experience in board director roles. He is currently a non-executive director of Melrose Industries plc, Pace plc and MHP SA as well as Chairman of the British Racing Drivers Club. He previously served as the Chairman of Torotrak plc and as senior independent director of Wolfson Microelectronics plc, amongst other appointments.

Jolly (No.1) Ltd of which John Grant resigned as a director in January 2000 entered members' voluntary liquidation in July 2010 and is currently in liquidation.

Sagar-Richards Ltd of which John Grant resigned as director in January 2000 entered members' voluntary liquidation in July 2009 and is currently in liquidation.

Hasgo Group Ltd of which John Grant resigned as director in October 2009 entered creditors' voluntary liquidation in October 2009. The company was dissolved on 14 October 2010.

John Albert Martin Grant does not hold any ordinary shares in the Company.

Save for the above, there is no further information required to be disclosed under paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules with respect to the appointment of John Grant.
