Appointment of Mr. Hezekiah Sola Oyinlola's as a Non - Executive Director of Guaranty Trust Bank plc.

Lagos Nigeria - June 30, 2014: Please be informed that Mr. Hezekiah Sola Oyinlola has been appointed as a Non - Executive Director of Guaranty Trust Bank plc.

Mr. Oyinlola is a seasoned professional with over thirty (30) years work experience in the Oil and Gas industry, having worked with Schlumberger Group from 1984 till date. He has served in management capacity at different times including the first Nigerian managing Director of Schlumberger Group in Nigeria. He rose through the ranks to become the Chairman, Africa Schlumberger Group, a position he has held from 2011 till date.

Mr. Oyinlola's appointment has been approved by the Central Bank of Nigeria in compliance with the highest level of corporate governance standards.
