Appointment of Non-Executive Chairman

Panmure Gordon (AIM: PMR), the independent institutional stockbroker and investment bank, is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Adcock as non-Executive Chairman with effect from 19 May. Andrew will succeed Ed Warner who, as previously announced on 17 February 2016, is stepping down at the conclusion of the AGM to be held on 18 May 2016.

Andrew John Adcock, aged 62, has over 30 years' experience in the City of London. A seasoned corporate broker, Andrew was instrumental in the establishment of BZW as a major corporate broking franchise prior to the business being sold to CSFB (now Credit Suisse). He is Chairman of Majedie Investments plc, JP Morgan European Investment Trust plc and Victory Park Specialty Lending Investments plc, all of which are investment companies. Andrew is an independent non-Executive Director of Foxtons Group plc, where he chairs the remuneration committee, and a non-Executive Director of F&C Global Smaller Companies plc and Kleinwort Benson Bank Limited. He is Chair of The Samuel Courtauld Trust and also a Director of the Courtauld Institute of Art. He was previously Managing Partner of Brompton Asset Management and, until 2009, served as Vice Chairman of Citigroup Corporate Finance. Prior to this Andrew was a partner at Lazard LLC. Andrew holds an M.A. in Law and History of Art from the University of Cambridge.

Andrew Adcock commented: "It will be a privilege to chair Panmure Gordon. Ed Warner has served as an excellent Chairman and guided the Company with a steady hand through some turbulent times. We wish him all the very best in the future."

Patric Johnson, said: "Andrew's considerable experience in both broking and investment banking is invaluable. His appointment has my full support as well as that of the Board and I very much look forward to working with him."
