Davis Service Group - Appointment of new Non-Executive Directors

The Davis Service Group Plc ("Davis") is pleased to announce that it has appointed Iain Ferguson, David Lowden and Andrew Wood as Non-Executive Directors of the Company with effect from 1 March 2010. Philip Rogerson and René Schuster will step down from the Board at the same time.

Iain Ferguson CBE, (54) was Chief Executive of Tate and Lyle plc from 2003 to 2009. Previously he worked for Unilever, where he held a number of senior positions including Executive Chairman of Birds Eye Walls and Senior Vice President, Corporate Development. He is a Non-Executive Director of Balfour Beatty plc and Greggs plc, and a member of the Advisory Board to PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He was previously a director of Sygen International plc. Mr Ferguson will become Senior Independent Director in succession to Philip Rogerson.

David Lowden (52) was Chief Executive of Taylor Nelson Sofres PLC from 2006 to 2009 having previously held the positions of Chief Operating Officer and Group Finance Director for the company. He has also held senior financial positions within international companies such as A.C. Nielsen and Federal Express.

Andrew Wood (58) has been Group Finance Director since January 2001 of BBA Aviation plc from which he will be retiring on 29 April 2010. He was previously Group Finance Director of Racal Electronics PLC. He is a chartered management accountant. Mr Wood will become Chairman of the Audit Committee.

Per Utnegaard will remain Chairman of the Remuneration Committee.

Philip Rogerson is stepping down at the end of February following his appointment as Chairman of Bunzl plc. René Schuster has also decided to step down from the Board at the same date as he has recently become CEO of Telefonica O2 in Germany and no longer feels able to meet his obligations as a Davis Board member.
