Appointment of New Director
PeerTV (AIM:PTV), a provider of technology solutions for the OTT (TV over the internet) market, is pleased to announce the appointment of Leon R. Nahon as Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Company, with immediate effect.
Leon has been a chartered accountant for 50 years after qualifying in 1961. From 1961 to 1963 he worked at Touche, Ross, Bailey & Smart and then at Howard Howes & Co until 1965. In 1965 he joined Levy Gee where he stayed for 35 years, becoming senior partner and managing that company's AIM flotation in 2001. As Levy Gee was sold to Numerica and then Numerica to Vantis he stayed with those businesses until 2006, serving as a director of the audit departments and head of the Italian group businesses. After leaving Vantis in 2006 he started an independent financial advisory business for corporates and high networth individuals.

Mr. Nahon was appointed a director to the then dormant T43 Limited in 1987. It then became one of the financial service providers used by Levy Gee and ceased trading in the mid 1990s. About 8 years later two individuals made claims that they had been mis-sold product by the T43 Limited and suffered loss. T43 Limited was then placed in Creditors Voluntary Liquidation. Each claimant made a claim and settlement was reached with both. Mr. Nahon did not take part in the business or management of T43 Limited.
As part of his appointment Mr. Leon R. Nahon (age 72) will be allowed to subscribe for 250,000 ordinary shares at par in the Company, equivalent to 1.7 per cent of its issued share capital.
